ive been exploring and im not sure where to go exactly, is it close anywhere? n yes i ascended+beat the game, etc,etc

If you are ascended (in theory; I'd guess that you can simply be run to the War Camp, at least), you can get to the new areas (there are oodles of threads here with maps showing the way). If you have finished the game, you can get the Glint quests from Droknar's Forge. These more or less continue the storyline of the game, and take you to various other areas (like back to Ascalon, Kryta, etc.).
